Giro dei rifugi del Sassolungo
The Sassolungo huts
The full circuit of a signature mountain.
The experience
The Sassolungo circuit is an immersion in the climbing history of the Val Gardena, in the heart of one of the most emblematic mountains of the Dolomites. The climb to the Forcella del Sassolungo — the long zigzag path up the scree — is the distinctive element of the route, and it can also be avoided by taking the cable car from the Passo Sella. With the Guidders we pass Rifugio Valentini, the Toni Demetz, the Vicenza and the Comici.
