WHY THIS HIKE

The Pizzo dei Tre Signori loop from Ornica

The summit where three valleys meet.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Ornica, by way of the Ferdy farm, and climb towards Pizzo dei Tre Signori, the highest summit in the Val Gerola: a rocky massif rising exactly where the Valtellina, Valsassina and Val Brembana converge. Along the route we cross alpine pastures and panoramic crests, with views opening across the whole pre-alpine arc. The return passes Rifugio Grassi, closing the loop at Ornica.

5 reasons to come - the summit of Pizzo dei Tre Signori, where three valleys meet - the view across the whole pre-alpine arc - Rifugio Grassi on the way back - the Ferdy farm along the climb - crests and alpine pastures of rare beauty

Who it suits A climb asking for a good level of fitness, with rocky sections: a sure step is needed.

A summit worth three valleys: come and take it with the Guidders.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Francesco, a UIMLA International Mountain Leader and a mid-mountain leader registered with the Collegio Guide Alpine Lombardia. I'm also a yoga teacher, and I love bringing mindful movement together with deep contact with nature: between trails and breath, the mountains are my element. For me the mountains are pure joy, to be lived in every aspect and shared with anyone who wants to explore, listen and be amazed. Every outing is a chance to find balance, wonder and — very often — new friendships. I hope to meet you soon. 🧘 🌲 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
