WHY THIS CLIMB

The Crench via ferrata over Lake Idro

Verticality above the blue water of Lake Idro.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from the small village of Crone: a short approach through the woods brings us to the start of the Ferrata Crench, one of the most enjoyable via ferratas in the Brescia pre-Alps. From there begins a vertical, dynamic route where rock, cables and rungs alternate with stretches of natural climbing. The line follows a striking wall above the lake: as you climb the view keeps opening onto the Alto Garda Bresciano, up to Punta Pelata and Cima Crench.

5 reasons to come - the Ferrata Crench, vertical and genuinely fun - the blue water of Lake Idro below you - the view over the Alto Garda Bresciano - Cima Crench after Punta Pelata - a mix of cables, rungs and natural climbing

Who it suits It is a via ferrata: you need a head for heights, a sure step and the right equipment.

Rock and lake in the same view: come and try it with the Guidders.
