Hike from Paspardo to the Colombè Refuge and Volano De Marie
From Paspardo to Rifugio Colombè
Two huts and a mountain dairy, taken slowly.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Paspardo, beside the wildlife centre, and take a wide, safe mule track, ideal for settling into the rhythm of the day. After a short steeper section — just enough to warm the legs — we reach Rifugio Colombè, facing the mountain of the same name. We carry on past Malga Zumella and arrive at Rifugio Volano De Marie, among woods, pastures and alpine tradition.
5 reasons to come - two huts in the same day - Malga Zumella along the route - a wide, safe mule track, perfect for walking as a group - the woods and pastures above Paspardo - the wildlife centre at the start
Who it suits A panoramic route on a mule track with one steeper section: normal walking fitness is enough.
