Mount Rite Hike in the Dolomites: A Scenic Trek Between Pelmo and Antelao
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate
Description
A spectacular trek in the heart of the Dolomites, accompanied by the Guidders, towards the panoramic summit of Monte Rite. We’ll set off from Passo Cibiana, between Cadore and Val di Zoldo, walking through high-altitude pastures and open trails all the way to the summit. Before us will open up a unique vista over Pelmo, Antelao and the Tofane. The circular route will make the experience even more complete and rewarding. From Passo Cibiana, we’ll start the hike near the Remauro Refuge, following the path that climbs towards Forcella Déona. The route alternates between sections of dirt track and mountain trail, with a steady gradient and the open, typically Dolomite landscape.
Once we reach the summit of Monte Rite, we will be surrounded by some of the most iconic mountains in the Dolomites: Pelmo, Antelao, Civetta, Tofane and many others. After a stop to take in the views, we will return to Forcella Déona and then descend the opposite slope towards Forcella di Val Inferna, completing a magnificent circular route. Fancy walking amidst some of the world’s most beautiful peaks? Join the Guidders and conquer Monte Rite amidst views that will stay with you forever. Book your place on this Dolomite hike now!

Alessandro
⛰ Hi! I'm Alessandro, 35 years old, and I live in the heart of the Dolomites, in Cadore. I'm a Mountain Hiking Leader (Collegio Guide Alpine del Veneto) and UIMLA member, with a degree in Sports Science, an MTB guide and... a sommelier too! Yes, because after a hike, a good glass of wine always hits the spot! I love experiencing the mountains in all their forms: from trekking to trail running, all the way to mountain biking adventures. For me, moving through nature is pure energy, discovery, emotion. Sharing all of this with people is my mission: whether it's on a scenic trail or through the woods on a bike, the goal is always the same — living authentic, active and rejuvenating experiences. See you on the trails... or maybe over a good glass of wine! 🍷🚵♂️🌲
