Description

From Vigo di Cadore, in the Belluno area, we’ll hike with the Guidders up to Giovanni Spagnolli Bivouac, in the heart of the Venetian Dolomites. The trail starts near the Starezza–Pramossei Military Road and winds through woodland, steep sections, and at times uneven terrain, reaching 2,039 metres: this trek is best suited to hikers with a good level of fitness and sure footing, especially on the descent. This hike offers a peaceful valley, glimpses of the surrounding peaks, and ever-widening views as you go—no gimmicks, just real mountains, satisfying effort, and the joy of sharing the experience. 5 reasons to join - a rewarding ascent in a true Dolomite setting - a varied trail that never feels repetitive - an iconic mountain bivouac above Vigo di Cadore - sweeping views over the Cadore valley - an authentic experience with the Guidders What makes this hike special is the way it combines mountain history, wilderness, and the arrival at a bivouac in a quieter, less-travelled corner of Cadore. Guide

Alessandro

⛰ Hi! I'm Alessandro, 35 years old, and I live in the heart of the Dolomites, in Cadore. I'm a Mountain Hiking Leader (Collegio Guide Alpine del Veneto) and UIMLA member, with a degree in Sports Science, an MTB guide and... a sommelier too! Yes, because after a hike, a good glass of wine always hits the spot! I love experiencing the mountains in all their forms: from trekking to trail running, all the way to mountain biking adventures. For me, moving through nature is pure energy, discovery, emotion. Sharing all of this with people is my mission: whether it's on a scenic trail or through the woods on a bike, the goal is always the same — living authentic, active and rejuvenating experiences. See you on the trails... or maybe over a good glass of wine! 🍷🚵‍♂️🌲
