Hike to Bivacco Blès and Capanna Sociale CAI Manerbio: An evocative trek through larch forests and panoramic views in Valle Camonica
The Blès bivouac in Valle Camonica
A simple objective, and the silence all around it.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Canè, in the upper Valle Camonica, and follow the path through woodland and stone walls to the Baite Saline. It is a pleasant climb, never too demanding, among larches and shaded stretches, with characterful stops such as the Fontana Güciola. The route carries on with gentle rises and openings onto the valley, to a firmer final stretch through the trees leading to the Bivacco Blès and the CAI Manerbio hut: the right place to stop and simply be.
5 reasons to come - the Bivacco Blès and the CAI Manerbio hut - the Baite Saline and the stone walls along the way - the Fontana Güciola, an obligatory stop - larches and shade on the way up - a genuine objective, with no crowds
