Description
A summer itinerary that starts from the parking lot (after a toll road) and ascends along the grassy ridge, emerging from the last sparse trees and reaching the Capanna 2000 refuge, where we can have a coffee before the ascent to Pizzo. After leaving the refuge behind us, we climb along a steep, rocky slope and, near the false summit, we will have to face the only slightly more technical point: in fact, we will have to climb an easy ladder with chains. The view repays the breath lost on the ascent and allows us to feel on top of the world! Itinerary suitable for those who already have some experience in the mountains and are physically trained.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm RoadTo4000, Road to 4000 started as a path for anyone who wants to step into mountaineering the right way, one stage at a time, building up to the climb to Capanna Margherita. I've learned that altitude isn't conquered overnight: it's built outing after outing, training endurance, learning to handle elevation gain and gaining confidence in different mountain environments. What I love most is watching a group of strangers turn into a real team: people who get to know each other step by step, share genuine experiences and arrive ready for their date with the 4000 meters. I believe that solid preparation and real sharing are the true foundation for climbing safely. Whoever sets off with me will find a path made of training, skills and friendship, with the summit as a concrete goal, but the journey, the people and the emotions along the way are what truly matter.
