Lesena Peak: a challenging trek along the ridge with sweeping Alpine views
Lesena Peak Trekking
A no-nonsense summit, in the heart of the Adamello.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Malga Licino, in the upper Saviore valley, and climb towards Rifugio Città di Lissone: from there the path steepens, between faint trail and scree, up to the final pull onto the summit of Cima Lesena. There is no postcard lake here and no hut on top: what counts is the progression, the valley dropping away beneath you and the silence of high ground. In return, an open ridge and a huge view across the Brescia mountains and the whole Adamello group.
5 reasons to come - a real summit, earned metre by metre - the open view across the Adamello - the stop at Rifugio Città di Lissone - a genuine alpine path, with nothing softened - the full satisfaction of that final pull
Who it suits You need fitness and a sure step: the path is steep and the ground is loose in places.
If you like testing yourself, this is the day: come with the Guidders.
