WHY THIS HIKE

Cima Clapsavon between Veneto and Friuli

A trek to Monte Clapsavon, starting from Casera Razzo, is one of those experiences that Guidders choose when they want to get off the beaten track and experience a real, essential mountain.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We are on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, in a wide and open area, where the panoramas expand and the human presence decreases. Here, trekking returns to being what it once was: step by step, without distractions, immersed in an authentic environment.

The ascent to Clapsavon offers a continuous progression through pastures and ridges, until reaching a panoramic summit from which the gaze wanders between the Dolomites and the Carnic Alps.

It's not the classic 'Instagrammable' and crowded trek: it's much more. It's one of those routes that Guidders choose to truly reconnect with the mountains, far from the noise.

If you're looking for silence, space, and a summit all to yourself, this is your trek. Join the Guidders and come and discover Monte Clapsavon step by step.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Alessandro, I'm 35 and I live in the heart of the Dolomites, in Cadore. I'm a mid-mountain leader with the Collegio Guide Alpine del Veneto and a UIMLA member, with a degree in Sport Science, an MTB guide and — yes — a sommelier too: after a hike, a good glass is never out of place. 🍷 I live the mountains in every form they come in: trekking, trail running, mountain bike adventures. Moving in nature is pure energy for me, discovery, feeling, and sharing it is the part of the job I never tire of. Panoramic ridge or woodland singletrack, the goal is the same: a real, active day that puts you back together. See you in the mountains, Guidders!
