WHY THIS HIKE

Cima Campelli below Mount Alben

A secret balcony below the Alben.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Valpiana on a tough but rewarding path leading to the summit of Monte Campelli, a panoramic and less-walked top on the Alben. At first we walk deep in the woods, then the country opens out until it offers a spectacular view over the Orobie and the Bergamo valleys. The climb asks for good legs, but once at the top every step finds its reason.

5 reasons to come - Cima Campelli, panoramic and rarely visited - the view over the Orobie and the Bergamo valleys - the cool, silent woodland of the first section - one of the best-loved routes around Oltre il Colle - a climb you feel, and which satisfies for that reason

Who it suits A demanding climb that asks for good legs: nothing technical.

Shared effort, earned views: come with the Guidders.
