The experience

The meeting point is at chalet Maniva for those coming from Brescia. Those coming up from Trentino will instead meet in Bagolino, then car share to chalet Igloo and walk to chalet Maniva.

The climb is gentle, perfect for enjoying every view without rushing. At the summit, the mountain hut awaits you, where you can warm up with something hot to drink or eat.

Meeting at Passo Maniva with the Guidders
We'll be meeting at Passo Maniva, Bagolino (BS). Since the pass is closed, for those coming from Brescia, the starting point will be Chalet Maniva. For those coming from Trentino, the first meeting point will be in Bagolino, and from there we'll carpool to Chalet Igloo, which will add just under 100 meters of elevation gain to our day.

Towards Desdanino
The trail climbs steadily through the snow-covered forest, step by step among fir trees heavy with snow. Winter silence stays with us all the way to Dasdanino.

A warm break behind Chalet Dasdana, at around 2088 m, with the white valley stretching below.

Return to Passo Maniva
We descend calmly following our own tracks in the snow, through quiet woods back to the starting point. Once the hike is done with the Guidders, a hot tea awaits us at the cars to toast the day.

How do you get to Bagolino? By carpooling.
