WHY THIS HIKE

Dimaro to Rifugio Vigo

If you’re craving snow, silence, and views that make you want to stay a little longer, this is your kind of day. A medium-difficulty snowshoe hike in the Campiglio-Dolomiti di Brenta-Val di Sole-Val Rendena ski area, surrounded by white woods and winter light. And at the end? A hot tea with a view over the Brenta Dolomites.

Group chat a couple of days before

The experience

We start in the morning from the junction leading to Rifugio Dimaro, where there’s a snow-free area to park. From there, we walk along the forest road to Rifugio Dimaro, closed in winter, a great panoramic stop with Sasso Rosso dominating the scene. Then we continue through quiet woodland and snowy meadows to Rifugio Vigo, also known as Baita Ciocomiti: lively atmosphere, local dishes, and views over the Malghette ski run. We head back along the same route.

Why join us - Amazing views of the Brenta Dolomites - A winter alternative to skiing - Snowy woods and bright alpine pastures - A warm, cozy final break

If winter in the mountains is your vibe, join the Guidders and enjoy it with the Guiddy community.
