WHY THIS HIKE

Chalet Cima Bianca

Short, but not easy: a climb you definitely feel.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Carbonera, above Colere, in the Val di Scalve, and climb towards Cima Bianca: farm roads and grassy tracks at first, then the path turns steeper and unrelenting, through pastures, hairpins and ever-wider glimpses of the valley. We pass Cascina Frassinetto and the Malga Bolzone area, up to the Chalet Cima Bianca, which arrives exactly when you need it. Higher up the ground turns broken and the gradients steepen: it is short, but intense.

5 reasons to come - a real climb, rewarding and never dull - the open view across the Val di Scalve and Colere - Chalet Cima Bianca as a place to pause - the summer pastures of Malga Bolzone - a short outing, ideal for half a day

Who it suits For walkers in good shape: higher up the ground is broken and the gradients sustained.

Short on time but keen to climb: come with the Guidders.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Gianandrea, a guide. For me, the outdoors is really about one thing: getting out there and playing, on foot or on two wheels. I've learned you don't always need to rush — sometimes a slow pace is all it takes to enjoy everything, other times you go looking for a thrill. It all depends on who's with me and what they're after that day. What I love most is exactly this: bringing people of all ages to discover the joys of outdoor life, whatever their rhythm. Age and experience don't matter — what matters is wanting to get out there. Whether you choose trails or wheels, my goal with you is simple: have fun and rediscover the pleasure of being outside. See you in the mountains, Guidders!
