Aldo and Sergio Gusmeroli Bivouac: Your peaceful mountain escape in the heart of Val Tartano.
The Gusmeroli bivouac in Val Tartano
A pocket of peace, at the head of the Val Tartano.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders into the Val Tartano, between the stream and the woods, and climb calmly towards the Bivacco Aldo e Sergio Gusmeroli. It is one of those objectives that is not chasing an altitude record: what counts here is the silence, the water running beside the path and the feeling of being far from everything. The hut, in its sheltered spot, is the right place to stop for a long while before heading back.
5 reasons to come - the Bivacco Gusmeroli, sheltered and silent - the stream that accompanies the climb - the woods of the Val Tartano - a genuine objective, with no crowds - a day designed for slowing down
