Baita Alta on Mount Zulino: A Spring Trek with Stunning Views in Valsanguigno
Mount Zulino in Valsanguigno
A valley waking up, with the water running again.
The experience
As spring arrives the Valsanguigno, one of the most genuine valleys in the Bergamo Orobie, changes face: snow gives way to the first green meadows, the woods fill with light and the stream runs livelier than ever thanks to the thaw. We set off with the Guidders from Valgoglio and follow the valley floor carried along by the sound of water dropping over rock and small falls, through cool woods and clearings, up to the Baita Alta on Monte Zulino.
5 reasons to come - the Valsanguigno waking up, with meltwater everywhere - the Baita Alta on Monte Zulino as the objective - the stream that accompanies the whole route - the first green meadows after winter - one of the most genuine valleys in the Orobie
