WHY THIS HIKE

The San Primo and Colmenacco loop

A double summit that works your legs and rewards your eyes.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Erno, above Veleso, and go for two tops: Monte Colmenacco and Monte San Primo, the highest summit in the Larian Triangle. Woods, ridgeline and some tough stretches, then that moment when you turn round and understand it was worth it. It is a long, demanding loop, to be taken with fitness and a sure step: you do not improvise here, but you enjoy it enormously.

5 reasons to come - two summits in a single loop - the most panoramic ridge in the Larian Triangle - Monte San Primo, the highest top in the area - a long circuit that genuinely tests you - Lake Como accompanying the ridge

Who it suits A hard loop: fitness and a sure step are needed, because you do not improvise here.

Effort weighs less in company: come with the Guidders.
