To the enchanting lakes of Alpe Pioltone
The lakes of Alpe Pioltone
Silent larch woods, and a swim in the tarns.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders and climb towards Alpe Pioltone through silent larch woods and open pasture, up to the clear pools of the Gattascosa tarns, where in summer you can treat yourself to a cooling swim. Along the route stand Rifugio Il Dosso and Rifugio Gattascosa, both worth stopping at. It is a simple, perfect day, made for anyone who wants to slow down.
5 reasons to come - the Gattascosa tarns, with a swim for the brave - Alpe Pioltone and its open pastures - two huts along the route - the silent larch woods on the way up - a day designed for slowing down
