Aperitrek to discover the village of Brugnello

An evening trek in Brugnello, in the heart of the Val Trebbia in the province of Piacenza, designed for those who love to unwind while enjoying genuine views and discovering one of the most scenic villages in Emilia-Romagna

The experience

We set off from the perched village of Brugnello, which looks as if it has come from an artist’s hand, and climb along a hillside trail and stretches of dirt road to the ridge, through woodland, clearings, and viewpoints over the Trebbia River. The route is of medium difficulty, with an ascent on at times uneven ground and a few steep sections, but nothing technical.

To break up the climb, we will stop for 10 minutes for a shared forest-listening exercise: sounds, colors, scents, tactile experiences.

Departure from Brugnello

Parking and departure from Brugnello (Corte Brugnatella, Province of Piacenza) at 5:30 pm, at an elevation of დაახლოებით 450 metres. Car sharing from Bobbio, Piazza XXV Aprile (Province of Piacenza), is also available, where we will meet at 4:30 pm.

Relaxation and mindful listening in the forest

A steady, sustained uphill climb through Apennine vegetation and ophiolitic rock formations. To break up the ascent, we’ll pause for 10 minutes for a shared forest-listening exercise, tuning into the sounds, colours, scents, and textures of the woods.

Pietranera

We arrive at the abandoned hamlet of Pietranera, where we reach one of the highest points on the route, at around 730 metres. From here, the walk becomes gentler and the descent begins, starting with a short stretch on asphalt before continuing along a dirt trail.

Brugnello

We complete the loop by returning to Brugnello (Corte Brugnatella, Piacenza), where we left our cars. As dusk falls, we’ll explore the village and stop at the panoramic terrace for a packed dinner and a relaxing moment together.
