WHY THIS HIKE

Pietra Parcellara and Perduca

Have you ever seen mountains that seem to be born from fantasy rather than nature?

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

In the heart of the Trebbia Valley lie two little-known but incredibly fascinating geological wonders: Pietra Parcellara and Pietra Perduca.

Two imposing rock formations that suddenly emerge from the landscape, creating an almost magical and timeless atmosphere.

During this loop hike, we will cross silent woods and panoramic paths until we reach the base of Pietra Parcellara, where the ascent to the summit will begin.

Here the experience becomes more adventurous: a steep but exciting stretch will take us to the top, where the view opens onto one of the most striking panoramas of the Piacenza Apennines.

We will then continue towards Pietra Perduca, with its unmistakable shape and the ancient history that you can breathe among its walls.

A perfect excursion for those looking for something different from the usual: authentic nature, surprising views and a touch of adventure.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Paolo, an environmental hiking guide, and nature is my habitat: I like discovering every fold of it, respecting it and training in its silence to unplug from a life that's often hectic. A lifelong sports enthusiast, I've raced triathlon and made entirely self-supported journeys on foot and by bike in Morocco, Ladakh, Corsica, Croatia, Cuba, Iceland, Namibia, Laos, Patagonia, Menorca, the Canaries and Poland: each one left its mark. In 2016 I ran the route from Riccione to Livorno alongside ultrarunner Stefano Gregoretti and, the same year, I designed and organised the Crete Unsupported Lonely Triathlon: a solo, fully self-supported triathlon around the whole perimeter of Crete, the place closest to my heart. From 2018 to 2021 I was an instructor with Ginnastica Dinamica Militare Italiana. All of that is good for one thing: knowing how much you can ask of a group, and when to stop. 🥾 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
