WHY THIS TRIP
Italy's finest path runs six hundred metres above the sea
The Path of the Gods traverses the hillside from Bomerano to Nocelle, suspended between the Lattari mountains and the blue: more than five kilometres with Capri in front, terraces below and the void on your right. It takes a morning, but on its own it would be a waste: around it lies a whole network of mule tracks farmers used before the road existed.

Accommodation
Albergo o B&B ad Agerola, 3 notti
Four days to really get to know it: the ferry from Positano to Amalfi, the Valle delle Ferriere with its waterfalls and a fern left over from before the ice ages, the hillside hamlets of the Via Maestra dei Villaggi, the high Path of the Gods up to the 1,122 metres of Monte Tre Calli, and the Amalfi Coast seen from above instead of from the seafront. You sleep in Agerola every night, up on the plateau: no repacking. You eat fiordilatte, fish and sfogliatelle.

Effort
Giorno 2: 9 km, 200 m in salita e 820 in discesa.
Safety
MUST READ
Optional extras
PAID ON SITE
Weather and changes of plan
In Costiera piove a rovesci improvvisi: guscio sempre nello zaino.

We meet in Agerola, more than 600 metres above the coast: the home of fiordilatte cheese, where the Path of the Gods begins and where we sleep all three nights. The Guidders car-pool to get here: say so when you book, then sort it out in the Telegram group. If you come by train, take the local bus from Naples to Agerola. Lunch is on the way, before we meet.
