Bugone Refuge: Sunset Training Hike
Rifugio Bugone, a sunset hike
An evening workout with a lake view.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Tosnacco, a small panoramic hamlet above Moltrasio, and climb woodland paths to Rifugio Bugone, with a view over the western shore of Lake Como. The return is a loop, to take in new angles and get back to the start with the last light of the day. This is the right outing for anyone who wants to train in company: a firm pace, a tight group and a head that empties out.
