We set off together with the Guidders from Bergotto, in the heart of the charming Val Manubiola, where we are immediately enveloped by the magic of the forest. These are no ordinary woods: the Bergotto area is famous throughout Europe for its PGI porcini mushrooms, gathered and cherished here for generations. Walking beneath the boughs of these trees, especially in autumn, means breathing in the most authentic essence of the land and losing yourself in a unique atmosphere, rich with unforgettable scents and colors.

We descend through woods glowing yellow and red down to the Manubiola stream valley floor: autumn foliage colors every corner of the trail. From here the climb towards higher ground begins.

Panoramic ridge above Berceto
We climb steadily through the beech woods; the trail turns steep, but the golden autumn light rewards every step. From here, the view over the valley opens up amid the colors of the foliage.
