The experience

Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from La Magdeleine and walk towards Chamois, one of the most unusual villages in the Aosta Valley: no cars at all, just paths, meadows and suspended silence. We reach Lago di Lod on a relaxed, panoramic route. In the afternoon, the Crotta di Vegneron, for a tasting of Aosta Valley wines.

Day 2. From Champorcher, a walk to Lago Muffè, through woods and wide views.

HOW TO GET THERE

Meeting point: La Magdeleine
We'll meet in La Magdeleine (Aosta Valley), where our trek begins. From there, we'll hike to Chamois, a charming and car-free mountain village.
12:00LAKE
Chamois and Lake Lod: A Mountain Paradise Awaits!
We reach Chamois and lose ourselves in the charming little streets of this unique village. Then, we continue on towards Lake Lod, a beautiful small alpine lake. (13 km, 450 meters of elevation gain)
15:00PARKING
Back to the trailhead.
We'll enjoy lunch by the lake before retracing our steps along the same trail back to the vehicles and settling into our apartments.
17:30VIEWPOINT
