Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from Balisio and climb to Rifugio Antonietta al Pialeral, then take on the real winter section: snow, crests and high-mountain terrain, up to Rifugio Brioschi, on the summit of the northern Grigna. We sleep up there, with a full-circle view over the Lecco mountains.

Day 2. An early start for sunrise from the top, and then the descent to the cars.

5 reasons to come - sleeping on the summit of the Grignone, at Rifugio Brioschi - sunrise from the highest summit of the Grigne - Rifugio Pialeral halfway up - snow and crests in the upper section - a full-circle view over the Lecco mountains

Who it suits A demanding winter ascent: ice axe, crampons, experience on snow and excellent fitness are needed.

The magic comes after the effort: set off with the Guidders.
