Description
Sunset over the Orobie, and dinner waiting just below.
We set off with the Guidders from Gandino and climb towards Pizzo Formico on paths through woods and pastures, up to the panoramic ridge. From the summit we watch the sun set over the Orobie and the Po plain, with a view running from Lake Iseo to the Presolana group. Once the show is over we drop to Rifugio Parafulmine for dinner, good food and conversation, then walk home under the stars.
