The experience
Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from Carona in the afternoon and climb steadily towards the Laghi Gemelli, on a path through woods and pastures to one of the finest alpine basins in the Val Brembana. We pitch the tents near the water, eat together and then lie back and wait for the sky: it is the night of the Perseids, and the shooting stars are mirrored in the lake.
Day 2. We wake to first light on the lakes, have breakfast and head back to Carona.

Meeting Point: Carona (Bergamo) We'll meet in Carona, high up in the Brembana Valley, in the early afternoon. We'll have a quick briefing, check your camping gear, and distribute the communal equipment.

Arrival at the Twin Lakes & Campsite Setup We'll find a suitable spot near the lake to pitch our tents (in a designated area, on the grassy shore, and at a safe distance from the water). Time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some free time!

Dinner Under the Stars
We'll prepare a shared packed dinner, or cook together using camping stoves. Around the lake, the atmosphere becomes truly magical: reflections shimmer on the water, a profound silence descends, and the anticipation of shooting stars makes this an unforgettable experience.
22:00VIEWPOINT
Stargazing and Guidders Moments
We'll lie down on the ground or on blankets to watch the meteor shower, with the spectacle of the dark sky above one of the most stunning lakes in the Orobie Alps. A moment to experience in silence, or with a song or two shared with friends.
How do you get to Carona? By carpooling.
