It's called Vertical, and the name doesn't lie: here you climb straight up, ridge after ridge.
It's no coincidence that this trail inspired the "Limone Extreme," an international skyrunning race that sets these very ridges ablaze every October: today we'll walk it ourselves, taking it slow and enjoying every single step.
But this trail has so much more to tell, beyond its sweeping panoramas!

A sure foot and zero fear of heights are required: the steep sections and assisted passages call for experience in hiking environments. The route should be tackled with the right energy, experience, and awareness.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Stefania, a mid-mountain guide, born and raised in Limone sul Garda: a place where mountains and lake meet and hand you spectacular views. The mountains have always been part of my life, but it was around 25 that I started living them more consciously, and from then on it was love at first sight. Training with the Collegio delle Guide Alpine of the Lombardy Region let me go deeper into the mountain environment: geology, botany, wildlife, weather. Every outing is a chance to keep learning and to be surprised. My goal is to take you into the mountains safely, calmly and fully — whether it's your first hike or you already have experience. Because a mountain isn't only a destination: it's a place to slow down, test yourself, make new friends and go home with memories that stay. ⛰ See you in the mountains, Guidders!
