Six days in Lapland: a snow hotel, frozen canyons and the hunt for the Northern Lights

Based in Rovaniemi, on the Arctic Circle, for 6 days and 5 nights among silent forests and skies that turn green at night. You'll dine in an ice restaurant after touring the Arctic SnowHotel, hike the Korouoma canyon between frozen waterfalls with a barbecue lit in the snow, and at sunset head out by sled or snowmobile to chase the Northern Lights.

The days leave room for you too: the Finnish sauna ritual with a hot tub in the forest, ice floating in a frozen lake, the Arktikum and Korundi museums, a reindeer farm, the Husky Park and Santa Claus Village on the last day. These are optional: you pick them on the spot, with the group.

Good to know

The flight to Rovaniemi is not included: we'll tell you which one to book. Budget about €150–200 for extras (groceries, city transport and optional experiences). The reindeer farm costs about €30 per person. It is properly cold: thermal layer, waterproof shell, warm hat and boots.
