WHY THIS HIKE

Resegone via the Ridge Trail

The Resegone ridge, from one of the most unusual villages in Lombardy.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Morterone and follow a loop across pastures, ridgelines and steeper sections towards Rifugio Azzoni and the summit of the Resegone. Along the way we pass Passo del Giuff, Selletta Cazzaniga and Selletta di Bobbio, with the view always open onto the Bergamo pre-Alps and the valley. We walk on earth, easy rock and rock steps, with a few exposed points on the ridge taken calmly and with a firm foot.

5 reasons to come - the iconic summit of the Resegone - starting from Morterone, a village like no other in Lombardy - Rifugio Azzoni right on the top - the saddles and notches along the ridge - a varied loop, between pasture and rock

Who it suits Moderately demanding: easy rock, rock steps and exposed points on the ridge want a sure step and a calm head.

The Resegone from the ridge is another mountain: come and find it with the Guidders.
