Pleasant hike to Lake Lagazuoi and the Scotoni Refuge
Lake Lagazuoi and Scotoni hut
From the trenches to a hidden lake, with two alpacas waiting.
The experience
The journey starts at Rifugio Lagazuoi, a treasury of Great War stories: trenches and outposts form an open-air museum. From there we drop towards Lake Lagazuoi, a hidden gem among the peaks, where the atmosphere is the kind you do not forget. The route ends at Rifugio Scotoni, where you eat and enjoy the view alongside two alpacas, the mascots of the house.
