The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Rifugio De Marie al Volano and move into an increasingly vertical world: fragrant woods, rock slabs and then the fitted sections leading upwards. Along the way we come across a bivouac hidden in the rock, one of those places you do not expect. The summit of Pizzo Badile Camuno is sharp and panoramic, suspended above the Tredenus: one of the most spectacular via ferratas in the Valle Camonica.

HOW TO GET THERE

Starts near the Volano Hut
We'll park the cars just below the Volano De Marie mountain hut (Cimbergo - Brescia) to kick off our hike.
11:00SUMMIT
Pizzo Badile Camuno Summit Conquered!
Having conquered the via ferrata, passed one of the smallest bivouacs around, and finally crested the last ridge, we've made it to the summit!
15:30RETURN
Back to the trailhead.
We'll then descend at a leisurely pace back to the cars, after a well-deserved summit picnic.
