The experience

Monte Aga is one of the most iconic summits in the Bergamo Orobie, a peak that commands the upper Val Brembana and that every hiker dreams of taking at least once. We set off with the Guidders from Carona, a small alpine village, and cross spectacular country between alpine lakes and historic huts. We pass Rifugio Fratelli Longo, a landmark for anyone tackling these mountains, and then climb to the summit, through scree and increasingly rocky ground.
