WHY THIS HIKE

The 10 Corni di Fonteno loop over Lake Iseo

Ten rock spires looking out over Lake Iseo.

Group chat a couple of days before
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Fonteno, a small village in the Bergamo hills, and follow a loop that alternates woodland with open passages along rocky crests, the Val Cavallina on one side and Lake Iseo on the other. The highlight is the 10 Corni: a row of spires offering one of the finest views around. Along the circuit we also pass the giant bench, a good excuse to stop and look.

5 reasons to come - the 10 Corni and their spires above the lake - the view over Lake Iseo and the Orobie - the giant bench along the route - a varied loop, between woodland and crest - a day within reach that still feels like a summit

Who it suits A mountain path with some steep, broken sections: you need a sure step, but there is nothing technical.

Views that leave you speechless: come and take them with the Guidders.
