WHY THIS HIKE

The Ramie vineyards in Pomaretto

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Lorenzo, an environmental hiking guide recognised by the Piedmont Region. I couldn't tell you which was my first "trip out", but the passion for walking in nature has been with me since that first day my parents took me into the mountains with them. For some reason I never thought it could become a job: my studies and career choices had taken me somewhere else entirely, into an office. Everything changed in 2020. Like many people, the upheaval of that year opened my eyes: a sedentary life wasn't for me any more, I wanted to go back where we all come from — the woods, the meadows, the ridges. From there came the hard decision to give up the coveted permanent job and take a risk. In 2023 I qualified as a guide, and the new adventure began. Come and discover the beauty around us with me: you won't regret it. 🥾 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
