You start from the parking area (around 1050 m), immediately taking a clear trail. The first meters are easy, on compact ground and surrounded by vegetation. A good moment to settle your pace and adjust your backpack before the climb begins.

Lago della Vecchia
You’ll reach Lake della Vecchia (around 1,850 m), nestled in a rugged yet captivating alpine setting. Crystal-clear water, peaceful silence, and towering rock walls all around make it the perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in nature. Here, we can enjoy lunch by the lakeshore or at the welcoming Rifugio della Vecchia.

Final stretch through the woods to the car park in Piedicavallo (BI).
