Four alpine lakes before the ones that name the hut.

The experience

From the village of Carona, in the Val Brembana, we take a path that enters an alpine setting straight away: shady woods, streams, glimpses of the valley. The climb is gradual but steady and crosses one of the most water-rich areas of the Orobie Alps: Lago Colombo, Lago Becco and the striking Lago Marcio, each with its own character. As you climb the view opens over the valley, up to the Laghi Gemelli, two large basins side by side watched over by the hut of the same name, where we stop for something to eat.

HOW TO GET THERE

Our destination is the Laghi Gemelli mountain hut! We'll cross the dam and reach the shores of the Twin Lakes to admire the beauty of the lake.

Bellissima passeggiata ai laghi gemelli, mi sono proprio divertito. Compagnia molto piacevole! La guida (Simone) è stata molto brava e coinvolgente, dandoci anche spiegazioni sulla botanica e la geologia dei luoghi attraversati. La coordinatrice (Valentina) ha gestito tutto al meglio! Bravi!

The experience

From the village of Carona, in the Val Brembana, we take a path that enters an alpine setting straight away: shady woods, streams, glimpses of the valley.
