Rima: Walser history and gypsum mines

Another excursion that takes us to one of the best-preserved Walser villages in Valsesia, Rima. We are in Alta Val Sermenza where this enterprising people founded this important community. Rima is also famous for having exported the technique of faux marble to the world. But what is most striking is the nature and beauty of this valley. We will ascend to the Vallè refuge and descend into the valley on another path to make a truly exciting loop. So what are you waiting for? Don't think about it, lace up your shoes and come with us!!

We'll reach the renowned Vallè Refuge, overlooking the valley. Here, we'll stop for a packed lunch, or you can enjoy a meal at the Refuge (reservations required).

Brusiccia Alpine Pasture
We'll reach the Alpe Brusiccia, where shortly after, the trail will connect with the path leading us back to Rima.

Rima
Back in Rima again, where we can grab our traditional beer together before setting off on another adventure!
