The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Alpe Devero and cross the wide Devero plain, then climb gently to the barns of Crampiolo and from there to the Lago delle Streghe, which shows itself almost all at once behind the last larches. We walk easy tracks and mountain path, with a few damp stretches, roots and wooden walkways: nothing extreme, but boots and a sure step are needed. The scenery keeps changing between pasture, larch woods, little streams and green water.
