The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Introbio, climbing green paths through woods and summer pastures, on a varied route that leads gradually into more open country. The climb is steady but pleasant, ideal for taking the mountains in without rushing. We reach the Passo del Gandazzo, a spectacular crossing point between valleys, and then drop to Rifugio Buzzoni for lunch.
