WHY THIS TREK

Camping Overnight at Garibaldi Hut

Two days and a night under canvas, below the Adamello glaciers.

Group chat before departure
Come alone, leave with new friends

The experience

Day 1. We set off with the Guidders from Malga Caldea, in the Val d'Avio, walking the old military mule tracks of the Great War, between alpine dams and spectacular lakes, up to Rifugio Garibaldi, where we set up base camp.

Day 2. We climb to the Passo Venerocolo and then to the summit of Punta Venerocolo, 3,323 metres, with the great Adamello glaciers and the Pian di Neve beneath us. Then back by the Garibaldi to the cars.

5 reasons to come - sleeping in a tent below a 3,323-metre summit - the Pian di Neve, Italy's largest glacier - the military mule tracks of the Val d'Avio - the lakes and alpine dams along the route - sunrise at altitude, before the final climb

Who it suits Two days at altitude with a tent in your pack: excellent fitness and a sure step are needed.

A journey into the history of the high mountains: set off with the Guidders.

Top!!!!!
