Description

Five lakes. One loop. Zero excuses to skip this.

We set off with the Guidders from Pinzolo and climb into Val Nambino, where the first mirror of water greets us early on: Lago Nambino, with the Dolomiti di Brenta as backdrop. From there the trail keeps climbing across granite boulder fields up to the high point of the loop at 2450 m, passing Lago Nero, Lago Serodoli and Lago Gelato. The real showstopper is Lago Lambin: a fjord-shaped strip of water that seems to stretch into the void. We close the loop descending back through Val Nambino, with a possible stop at Rifugio Lago Nambino for a mountain dish before heading home.

Local legend says a dragon hides in the waters of Lago Nambino: staring into that deep blue, you almost believe it.

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I'm Matteo, an AMM guide with the Collegio Guide Alpine of Trentino. I believe in sharing, in listening and in genuine experiences: the ones that leave real memories and make you feel part of the mountain, not a passing visitor. I live and work in the mountains, the place of my roots and my identity, where my heart beats harder. I've followed this road since I was a child, and at some point I turned the passion into a profession. Let's walk together: adventure is always better shared. 🎒 See you in the mountains, Guidders!
