We'll meet at the entrance to the Noto Antica archaeological site, marked by the so-called Porta della Montagna.

Remains of Castello Reale
The first stop will feature a visit to the remains of the main tower and a section of wall. The earliest records of the castle date back to the 11th century, to the Norman Giordano, son of Ruggero d'Altavilla. The fortress was later extensively reworked over the centuries, especially during the Aragonese period. The structure was also used as a prison.

Remains of the medieval town
Continuing the walk along the main path, you can discover the remains of some important buildings of the ancient town: Palazzo Landolina di Belludia, the Church and the Jesuit college.
11:00WATER
Cava Carosello
One of Sicily's most striking valleys, where nature reigns untouched. Among paths immersed in greenery, rocky cliffs and lush vegetation lie the ruins of some Arab-era tanneries. Here you'll experience guided forest bathing: let yourself be enveloped by the sounds, scents and energy of the forest, rejuvenating body and mind.
