The Ruins of San Martino

Il posto è un luogo magico immerso nel bosco lungo il semplice sentiero che da San Giovanni al Monte conduce al paesino di Lundo(TN). Si passerà dapprima affianco alla Malga di Vigo, dove si potrà ammirare uno splendido panorama sulle Dolomiti di Brenta e sulla Presanella, ed in seguito affianco ad una misteriosa lapide nel bosco. Una storia lunga, antica e coinvolgente. Non siete curiosi? Facciamoci un giro!! Numero minimo di partecipanti: 2

The experience

Dal parcheggio della chiesetta di San Giovanni al Monte (Arco) si seguirà la strada asfaltata in salita per un breve tratto; in seguito si continuerà su una strada sterrata in piano e in discesa fino alla malga di Vigo. Qui si scenderà nel bosco fino ad incontrare il bivio col sentiero per le rovine che, risalendolo, in breve, ci condurrà alla meta. Il rientro avverrà per la stessa strada, dunque la maggior parte del dislivello lo avremo al ritorno.

San Giovanni al Monte Church
Our starting point is next to the San Giovanni al Monte church in Arco. There are a few car parks here, others a bit further up, and some nearby where the San Giovanni mountain hut/refuge is located, open seasonally from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Qui si scenderà nel bosco fino ad incontrare il bivio col sentiero per le rovine che, risalendolo, in breve, ci condurrà alla meta. Il rientro avverrà per la stessa strada, dunque la maggior parte del dislivello lo avremo al ritorno.
