The experience

Monte Cabianca is one of those Orobie summits standing on the divide between the Val Seriana and the Val Brembana: the view opens onto both valleys. We set off with the Guidders from Bortolotti, in Valgoglio, an area remarkably rich in water: along the climb we pass Lago Sucotto, the Capanna Lago Nero and Lago di Aviasco, one after another. Then we head higher, to the summit.

We'll enjoy a well-deserved packed lunch with this incredible view.

Descending from the Summit
We'll descend to rejoin the main trail. Here, we'll have the option to either retrace our steps or extend the hike with a loop towards the Campelli and Cernello lakes.
