The experience

The Cammino del Vescovado links Scanzorosciate to Chiuduno in a single day, crossing the heart of the Terre del Vescovado. We set off with the Guidders among the Moscato di Scanzo vineyards, climb to the Chiesetta degli Alpini on Monte Bastia — a natural balcony over the plain — and carry on through olive groves, old mule tracks and medieval castles. Along the way come the landmark stops: Torre de' Roveri, the hermitage of Santa Maria, Albano Sant'Alessandro, Montello and Santa Maria in Argon.

The scenery is constantly changing, from charming villages to vineyard-covered fields to lush forests.

Having reached this charming hermitage nestled in serene silence, we'll enjoy a scenic break before continuing on.

Chiuduno
We'll traverse the final trails winding through olive groves, vineyards, and the fragrant Mediterranean landscape, until we reach the Church of S. M. Assunta and, finally, Chiuduno.
