The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Paspardo and cross larch and fir woods, dairies and pastures that open onto ever-changing scenes. After a steep but steady climb we pass Rifugio Colombè, an excellent base on the way up and back, then the path rises firmly towards Monte Colombè and the final crest leading to Cima Barbignaga. At the top we are met by a cross and a small Madonna, and one of the most complete views over the Adamello and the Concarena. The return passes the Bivacco Pian di Campo.
