Winter at the Piani di Artavaggio, taken calmly.
We set off with the Guidders from Moggio and climb through silent woods and snowy slopes, at a steady pace that invites you to savour every step. As we gain height the landscape opens onto the Piani di Artavaggio, one of the best-loved spots in the Lecco pre-Alps: wide flats, full light and broad views towards the Grigne. Arriving at Rifugio Nicola is the perfect moment for a warm break, in a sociable atmosphere.
