WHY THIS HIKE

Giannantonj bivouac at Salarno Pass

Salarno Pass is one of those places you have to see at least once in your life. It will almost certainly stay in your heart! You'll arrive just a few meters from the Pian di Neve glacier, the largest in Italy and among the largest in Europe, with Adamello acting as its guardian. The path up to the Paolo Prudenzini refuge is all on an easy and comfortable mule track, after which it becomes pure granite that will keep us busy for a few hours during the ascent.
