The experience

We set off with the Guidders from Galbiate and climb a path through the woods to the summit of Monte Barro, where the view turns all the way round: the Grigne, the Resegone, the mountains of the Larian Triangle and the lakes of Annone and Oggiono. As the sun drops we stop to watch the colours light up the landscape, then head down to the hermitage of Monte Barro for dinner together. The return is under the stars, with the last stretch lit by head torches.

Dinner at the Hermitage
After admiring the sunset together, we’ll head down to the Hermitage for dinner.

We return to the cars, tackling the final section after dark.
